Grace, mercy and peace be multiplied unto you, through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
Four years ago, we gathered in a modified way due to the worldwide pandemic. We entered a new time as a ministry, a time to reopen our doors, restart ministry and get moving. We were instructed that we must see God’s Will in front of us, so that we might accomplish it for this time. We were told to see the value of restoring our families and those who are lost in every race, creed and color, the necessity of preparation, the purpose of building and the goal of establishing the church for generational success.
We now gather again for the fifth quadrennial meeting of From the Heart Church Ministries Worldwide®. We gather from all From the Heart churches, overseas and stateside to assemble yet again to hear from God and conduct the business of the General Church. Since our last meeting, the Parent Church has celebrated its 45th church anniversary and I am grateful for us completing a major renovation of our church worship and fellowship spaces and building exterior. As I have traveled throughout From the Heart, we are blessed by the renovation of many other local churches.
I am excited to welcome you to the 2026 General Church Meeting. Our Theme is “Continuing the Work”. We will not do what God is requiring of us unless we are motivated by love. This meeting is an opportunity for us to come together and be strengthened by love so we can manifest the love of God. I will be challenging the church worldwide to be motivated to live outside our own interest, to sacrifice for the furtherance of the Gospel, and re-establish the work of the ministry. This General Church Meeting is the next step in preparing the church for the next move of God and ensuring that we do not fail in that assignment from God.
On behalf of Sister Cherry and myself, as well as the members of the Parent Church, I welcome you to this meeting. We have been working diligently to prepare and look forward to what God is going to do in our hearts.
