Minister Tameka Young
At the age of 5, Minister Tameka Young joined From the Heart Church Ministries® with her family. As a little girl in church school, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. As a teenager, while attending Youth Institutes, Minister Young grew in her relationship with the Lord, and after college, she rededicated her life and received the baptism with the Holy Spirit. Minister Young earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Accounting from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia. On May 28, 2016, Minister Young married Pastor Justin K. Young, and they are the proud parents of two children, Chasity Kardyn and Justin K. Young, II.
Professionally, Minister Young has worked in various positions as a Certified Public Accountant. In 2017, she left the corporate world to join her husband in full-time ministry. Prior to being our First Lady, Minister Young worked on staff in the Finance Department. In her current position, she works alongside her husband to care for the members.

Minister Young is also responsible for teaching her husband’s heart to the women of the church. With this responsibility, she oversees our Women of God Lifegivers fellowship and is the host for our Annual Women’s Retreat.
On Sunday, July 19, 2026, at our 5th quadrennial General Church Meeting, Minister Young was licensed as a minister to assist her husband with the work of the ministry. Minister Young’s desire is to do whatever it takes to help her husband love and serve the people. She is grateful to be the First Lady of the church that led her to Jesus, taught her how to live, and entrusted her to serve.
