The Physical Stewardship Ministry’s purpose is to provide maintenance and cleaning support for the beautification of the ministry facilities and campus. This includes cleaning and maintaining all physical space as well as developing and implementing procedures for volunteers to help with the maintenance and beautification.
When the prospective ministry participant requests to join the ministry and/or attends our meetings, they are informed of the areas to be cleaned.
Once a new member is approved, he/she is provided scheduled training and orientation and selects a day(s) to serve. The training includes proper sign-in/out procedure, wearing safety gloves, masks and the location of cleaning solutions and supplies and how to use them, as well as proper use of equipment (if applicable).
Meeting Dates: Quarterly, 1st or 2nd Saturday, 10:00 a.m.
A photo badge will be provided after approval and MUST be worn at ALL times while serving. Aprons are provided and should be returned to the closet after serving.
