Jesus Is Lord!
The purpose of the Wedding Coordinating Ministry is to assist couples who have completed pre-marital counseling in planning their wedding and reception. The planning and implementation process is also available to couples who desire to renew their vows. The Wedding Coordinating Ministry acts as a liaison between couples, other supporting ministries of the church, and the Office of the Pastor.
The ministry conducts a training workshop at the beginning of the each year. In addition, practical experience is garnered when assigned to work with seasoned coordinators on all phases of the wedding planning process, which encompasses the initial meetings with couples, rehearsal, ceremony, reception, and how to handle vendors and outside wedding coordinators.
Members work together in unity and exemplify their oneness to couples, the ministries of FTHCM, and to God.
"So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work." Nehemiah 4:6
