Creative Dance

The Purpose of the Creative Dance Ministry is To praise the Lord and usher in the presence of God through dance.  The ministry seeks to edify, encourage, and up lift the saints of God and to seek and save the lost by presenting the word of God through dance.

Church Life

What to expect

  • Training preparation for ministry in dance is done through attending weekly practices consistently to prepare the heart of the dancer, and to prepare the temple through physical exercises, learning dance technique, and choreography.
  • All training is done during ministry practice. However, a physical exercise plan is strongly encouraged outside of practice, and spending quality time with the Lord at home.

  • ESSENTIAL ITEMS NECESSARY TO SERVE IN THIS MINISTRY (Such as a uniform or anything else that may be necessary to successfully function in this ministry    ):  Essential items practice: Comfortable clothing, which allows movement (ex. Sweat suits, plus t-shirts, sneakers, dance shoes, water for practice.) Essential items: for ministry dates: Men–black dance shoes, Women-white tights and leotards or white unitards, white ballet shirt and shoes, black-same as white, but with pallazo pants versus skirt. 

Additional Information

No previous dance experience is necessary.

All prospective members should be at least 17 years of age. {If minor children wish to become involved, their parent or guardian must also join the ministry and attend with them whenever they are present.}
