FTH Children's Choir

The purpose of the From the Heart Children’s Choir is to teach children how to express the purpose of music, which is to bless God’s Holy Name.  Children’s Choir members are taught to use their talents, abilities, gifts, and skills to lift up the name of Jesus and to let their lights so shine that others may see their good works and glorify our Father in heaven.  In doing so, this ministry functions as a vehicle through which God can use the gifts and talents of our children to edify the Body of Christ, draw others unto Him, and glorify His name.  The FTH Children’s Choir also functions as a source of nurturing and training for our children.

Church Life

What to expect

Children are taught the technical aspects of music and singing and the discipline required to build a good vocal foundation.  The essential skills children are trained to use include proper posture, breathing, tone, rhythm, and dynamics.

Parents and adult ministry workers are trained to serve in various musical and administrative capacities.

Additional Information

  • Parents or Guardians must be members of From the Heart Church Ministries.
  • Children must be between 3 and 11 years of age to join.
  • Parents or Guardians and children should be committed to serving in the Children’s Choir.
  • PARENT AND ADULT MINISTRY WORKERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO JOIN THE MINISTRY TO WORK WITH THE CHILDREN, TO SERVE AS A MUSICIAN OR DIRECTING ASSISTANT, OR TO SERVE IN VARIOUS ADMINISTRATIVE CAPACITIES.
